Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, at 3.53°S 38.8°W, at 23.77°S 45.42°W (Fernandez et al. 2014, 2015).

Habitat: polyp—from 2 to 4m depth, on fouling (Fernandez et al. 2014, 2015).
