Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, from 21°S to 23°S (Grohmann et al. 2013).

Habitat: from 701 to 998m depth, on the bivalve mollusk Mendicula ferruginosa (Grohmann et al. 2013)
