Distribution: N Burma; S China, Tsinghai, Shensi, Sichuan and Yunnan; N Vietnam.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Includes affinis; see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1966:35). Recently recorded from Mt. Tay Con Linh II in N Vietnam (Lunde et al., 2003 b).
