A valid species, Tenthredo (Eurogaster) nimbata Konow, 1906 .

Types. Tenthredo nimbata Konow, 1906: 126–127 . Syntypes ♂ ♀, “ Sikkim ”. Lectotype ♀, hereby designated (MNCN_Ent 100222, MNCN Cat. Tipos Nº 8118, Fig. 30, see also http://dx.doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.765439). Type locality: India, Sikkim. Paralectotypes: 1 ♂ 1 ♀ (SDEI), “ Sikkim ” (http://dx.doi.org/10.6084/ m9.figshare.765444).

Discussion. Malaise (1945: 227) considered the SDEI ♀ to be a paratype, Saini (2007: 134) claimed erroneously that the holotype ♀ and two paratypes should be in the SDEI.
