Gondwanamyia Sinclair, Cumming, Brooks, Plant & Saigusa 2016: 138–140 . Type-species: Gondwanamyia chilensis Cumming & Saigusa, 2016 (des. orig.).

Remarks. Gondwanamyia, a genus with two described species, one from southern Chile and the other from the North Island of New Zealand, that were considered to probably belong to the Trichopezinae by Sinclair et al. (2016).
