Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia hortis. Mus. Do. Yeats”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Pandemis heparana (Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775) ( Tortricinae, Archipini).

Remarks. This taxon was presumably described in synonymy with Tortrix heparana D. and S. and referred to as Phalaena heperana [sic] by Fabricius (1787).
