Type locality. England (“Habitat in Angliae nemoribus. Dom. Yates”).

Material examined. S & TL coll. 1 specimen.

Identity. Lozotaenia forsterana (Fabricius) ( Tortricinae, Archipini) (Stephens 1829: 169).

Remarks. This is the type species of Lozotaenia Stephens, 1829 by subsequent designation by Westwood (1840). The taxonomic identity of this Fabrician species has remained stable (e.g., Brown 2005).
