Material examined. None.

Identity. Acleris logiana (Clerck, 1759) ( Tortricinae, Tortricini).

Remarks. This is a stable synonym (e.g., Brown 2005) proposed by Werneburg (1848) through the more common junior synonym in literature Tortrix treveriana Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775 . Additional comments on its identity can be found in Razowski (1966), Obraztsov (1956), and Robinson and Nielsen (1983). The name was misspelled as ‘ niveana ’ by Fabricius (1794).
