Current name: Marginaria polypodioides (L.) Tidestr. var. polypodioides ( Polypodiaceae).

Note: Weather by (in Contr. Gray Herb. 124: 28. 1939), followed by later authors, treated material in Plukenet’s herbarium as the type but this was not seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
