Current name: Dracaena fragrans (L.) Ker-Gawl. ( Agavaceae / Dracaenaceae).
Note: Coode (in Bosser & al., Fl. Mascareignes 183: 21. 1978) treated 440.4 (LINN) as the type but this is a later addition to the collection annotated only by Linnaeus filius, and not original material for the name (see Bos in Misc. Pap. Landbouwhoogeschool 84-1: 73. 1984).
