Generitype of Acnida Linnaeus.

Current name: Acnida cannabina L. ( Amaranthaceae).

Note: Sauer (1955) indicated Clayton 599 as the type but did not distinguish between the collections in LINN and BM. He is accepted as having typified the name, with Reveal (1993) having restricted the lectotype choice to the material in LINN.
