Lectotype (Grierson & Yavin in Davis in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 33: 212. 1974): Herb. Clifford: 415, Anthemis 2 (BM-000647187) .

Current name: Anthemis cretica L. ( Asteraceae).

Note: Fernandes (in Anales Inst. Bot. Cavanilles 32: 1433. 1975) independently made the same type choice as Grierson & Yavin, and also illustrated this Clifford sheet (as t. 8).
