Remark. Although this species was dedicated to L. A. A. Chevrolat, Candèze (1857) used the spelling chevrolatii in the original description. Gemminger & Harold (1869) corrected the spelling to chevrolati and this spelling has been in use since then. We deem this to be the correct original spelling in application of Art. 33.3.1. of the Code (ICZN 1999).
