Type:— PERU. Loreto: vicinity of Iquitos, November–December 1986, G. Klug 10028 (holotype: AMES 62159, isotypes: K barcode K000586295, US 1691950!).

Notes: — Schweinfurth (1946) described N. conduplicans based on the collection of Klug 10028, reporting the AMES herbarium as being where the holotype was deposited. However, some isotypes have been located in the collections of the K and US herbaria.
