Notes: — Cogniaux (1910) described N. broadwayi without informing the place where it was deposited. The type specimen has not been located and, as there is no illustration of the species, a neotype is required. Therefore, a sample deposited at the AMES herbarium collected by Broadway s.n. in the type locality is designated as a neotype. The neotype consists of two forms, as an exsiccate and as a microscope slide (Turland et al. 2018: Art. 8.3).
