Type:— PERU. Loreto: Maynas, vicinity of Iquitos, November–December 1936, G. Klug 10031 (holotype: AMES 62135!, AMES 62135 microscope slide!).
Notes: — Schweinfurth (1946) described N. conduplicans based on the collection of Klug 10031, and informed the AMES herbarium as the place where the holotype was deposited; the isotypes were located in the collections of NY and US herbaria. The holotype is an exsiccate and a microscope slide, both considered as two forms of mounting of the same sample (Turland et al. 2018: Art. 8.3).
