21. Spatalina umbrosa (Leech, 1898) (new record for India)

Material examined. India: 2 ♂♂, Manipur, Ukhrul district, Shirui Hill (Site 2), 25.1171°N 94.4456°E, 2198 m, 12.VII.2016, genitalia slide no. JSI-GP 285; leg. JS Irungbam ((in coll. NZC, ZSI). Registration no. 11524/H10).
Diagnosis. Forewing length 18 mm – 19 mm in males. The species resembles morphologically with newly described species Spatalina rimbiensis sp. nov. In size, S. rimbiensis sp. nov. is slightly larger than S. umbrosa (Please check the description and diagnosis of S. rimbiensis sp. nov.)
Distribution. India: Manipur (in the present study). Elsewhere: Myanmar, Thailand, China (Sichuan, Yunnan).
