Chalepa binotata Kiriakoff, 1959; Ark. Zool. (2) 12 (20): 333, pl. 1, f. 11. TL: Kambaiti, Myanmar.

Material examined. 1 male, INDIA, Manipur, Ukhrul district, Shirui Hill (Site 1), 25.1264°N 94.4357°E, 1930 m, 22.VII.2019, Genitalia slide no.GU 69-81, Leg. JS Irungbam & H Huidrom .

Diagnosis. Forewing length 18 mm in male. The head bears bipectinate antennae. The species is distinguished by yellowish ground color forewings and creamy white colored hindwings. A distinct black dot on the discal area present.

Distribution. India: Manipur (In the present study). Elsewhere. Myanmar (Kiriakoff, 1959).
