Pseudosomera noctuiformis yunwu Schintlmeister & Fang, 2001: Neue Ent. Nachr. 50: 81. TL. Yunnan, China.

Material examined. India: 3 ♂♂, Manipur, Ukhrul district, Shirui Hill (Site 2), 25.1236°N 94.4408°E, 2036 m, 24.VII.2019, 9-14.IX.2019; leg. JS Irungbam.

Distribution. India: Arunachal Pradesh (Mazumder et al. 2022); Manipur (in the present study). Elsewhere. Thailand, China (Yunnan, Sichuan) (Schintlmeister & Fang 2001); Vietnam, Taiwan (Schintlmeister 2008); Laos (Kobayashi 2020).

Note. The species was recently reported for the first time from Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh (Mazumder et al. 2022). This is the second record of the species in India and represents a westward expansion of its range.
