According to mtDNA analysis with cytochrome-b, C. rosendopascuali is in the mendocinusspecies group. Chromosomal complement is 2n = 52 and FN = 62, 64, or 66, and sperm is simple asymmetric.
Monotypic.
Distribution. C Argentina (N Cordoba Province).
Descriptive notes. Head-body 160-177 mm (males) and 159-166 mm (females). No specific data are available for body weight. Rosendo Pascual’s Tuco-tuco is relatively small.
