Distribution. Algeria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Palestine, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey.

Remarks. Numerous reports of this species in Egypt exist in the literature, but specimens are absent from Egyptian reference collections (Bodenheimer 1937, Ehrmann 2002, Roy 2004 and Abu-Dannoun 2007).
