Variation. Specimens from Mexico have first metasomal tergite with lateromedian longitudinal carinae not exceptionally sharp, present only anteriorly and not reaching the level of spiracles.
Distribution. Mexico (Veracruz, Yucatán), El Salvador, Costa Rica. First record from Mexico.
