Material examined. Holotype ♀. BRAZIL. Am[azonas], Manaus, Reserva Ducke 1112, 24.IX.1986, Malaise [trap], Klein col. (INPA).

Diagnosis. FEMALE (Fig. 148). Black with metallic bluish reflections; propodeum black. Clypeus trilobate, median lobe subtrapezoidal; lateral lobe rounded. Antennal scrobe not carinate. Frons coriaceous, linear depression from clypeus almost to anterior ocellus. Vertex slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina almost straight; median and lateral carinae absent. Scutellar pit subrounded, connected by illdefined groove. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove wide anteriorly; anterior fovea subtriangular; upper fovea subrounded; lower fovea with upper margin absent (Fig. 149). MALE unknown.

Distribution. Brazil (Amazonas).

Remarks. Mandible teething covered by the clypeus. Clypeus trilobate resembling Holepyris species.
