Distribution in Iran. West Azarbaijan (Nateq Golestan 2004; Nateq Golestan et al. 2004, 2010a, b, c, 2011), Iran (no locality cited) (Rider 2006).

General distribution. Pontian: Asian Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria; according to Péricart (2010) the localisation in Syria more probably concerns Turkey, he adds Israel to the distribution.

Host plants. On Apiaceae plants (Nateq Golestan et al. 2010a), Asteraceae (Nateq Golestan et al. 2011).
