Distribution in Iran. West Azarbaijan (Nateq Golestan 2004; Nateq Golestan et al. 2004, 2005, 2010a, b, c, 2011), Iran (no locality cited) (Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia (southern regions), Turkey (Anatolia), also recorded from Morocco and Spain.

Host plants. On Isatis sp. ( Brassicaceae) (Nateq Golestan et al. 2005, 2010, 2011) and on Brassicaceae, Poaceae, Salsolaceae, Zygophyllaceae (Derjanschi & Péricart 2005)
