Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan (Hoberlandt 1997).

General distribution. This species is known in the Maghreb, probably erroneously (mis identification) in Iran.

Host plants. In The Maghreb, S. leprieuri on Salsola sp. ( Amaranthaceae) (Derjanschi & Péricart 2005).
