Phthersigena pallidifemur (Tindale, 1923)

Although originally described as a subspecies of P. unicornis (Tindale, 1923), Tindale (1930) later elevated it to species status. This has been overlooked by subsequent authors (Balderson 1984; Ehrmann 2002); it is here considered a distinct species.
