Material examined. Papua-New-Guinea. Net. Ind.-American New Guinea Exped., Mist Camp, 1800 m, I.1939, L.J. Toxopeus, Ψ holotype (ZMAN).
Description. Total length: 7.5 mm. Width across humeral calli: 1.1 mm. Body red-brown without darker area on elytra. Habitus of type: Fig. 12.
Head (Fig. 79) broader than long with very fine punctures. Temples much shorter than the length of the eyes. Vertex and frons grooved. Metarostrum grooved, mesorostrum and prorostrum smooth. Lateral grooves of metarostrum distinct. Prorostrum 0.4 as long as head + metarostrum + mesorostrum. Antennomere 3 longer than broad, conical; 4–8 slightly conical, as long as broad; 11th 1.8 longer than 10th.
Pronotum shiny, smooth. Prosternum glabrous; prosternellum distinct. Metasternum shiny, convex, smooth, finely grooved. Base of elytra straight, interstria not protruding forward. Interstria 3 abruptly stopped before apical declivity but not forming a sharp tooth (Fig. 81). Interstria 5, 6 and 7 connected forward to form a common humeral interstria. External border of apical "forceps" without tooth at base; inner side with a short median tooth (Fig. 81).
Sternites III–IV of abdomen (Fig. 82) not depressed, hardly grooved, smooth; sternites V–VI smooth. Spermatheca: Fig. 80.
