Pepsis atalanta Mocsáry

COSTA RICA: Guanacaste Province, N of Cañas, Hacienda La Pacifica; 18 October 2000; R. C. West. Host: Aphonopelma seemanni (F. O. P.-Cambridge) (Costa Rican zebra tarantula) ( Theraphosidae), adult female. The wasp tried to paralyze the tarantula at the entrance of its ground retreat. Both wasp and spider were collected (R. C. West, 2018 pers. obs.).
