Figs 14, 29, 41

Odites malivora Meyrick, 1930: 555 . TL: China (Heilongjiang: Manchuria). TD: BMNH. Odites xenophaea Meyrick, 1931: 74 .

Scythropiodes xenophaea (Meyrick): Lvovsky, 1996: 650.

Scythropiodes malivora (Meyrick): Park & Wu, 1997: 32.

Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 14) with wingspan 19.0–28.0 mm. This species is similar to S. ussuriella Lvovsky, 1996, but differs from the latter in the male genitalia by the apical process of the valva being deeply concave at the base of the outer margin, and by the phallus having neither a process at distal 1/5 nor denticles preapically (Fig. 29). In S. ussuriella, the valva has an apical process shallowly concave at the base of the outer margin, and the phallus has a thorn-shaped process at distal 1/5 and two small preapical denticles (Park & Wu 1997: Figs 17–18).
