DIAGNOSIS. — Test ovoid, distinct neck provided with a deversed lip, base ornamented with costae, aboral opening.

TYPE SPECIES. — Lagunculella grayi n. sp.

ETYMOLOGY. — From Latin lăguncŭla (carafon).

DESCRIPTION

Test ovoid more or less elongated, truncated at the base, ornamented generally partly with costae; wall hyaline, punctate; aperture rounded provided with a deversed lip; aboral opening.
