Hypocreadium patellare Yamaguti, 1938

We have found three morphological types of Hypocreadium which apparently represent varieties of H. patellare or a group of similar species. We here describe each type separately, but have refrained from erecting new taxa as the differences are slight, inconsistent or fall within the variation found in specimens from the type-host and locality as described by Machida & Kuramochi (1999).
