Habitat: living on tree bark (corticolous) (Omodeo et al. 2003).

Zoogeographical distribution type: Holarctic (Csuzdi et al. 2011).

Distribution in Bulgaria: all over the country, old forests with rotten trees or underneath leaves (Mihailova 1966).
