Gonatopus besucheti Olmi 1991: 345 .

Description of Female. Apterous; length 2.9–3.5 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of face testaceous; antenna black, except segments 1–2 testaceous; mesosoma black, except scutum yellow, distal apex of propodeum reddish and light nuances on metanotum; metasoma black; legs brown, except tarsi testaceous. In specimen from India, 20 Km NE Dehradun, head black, except only mandible testaceous, and mesosoma totally black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 8:6:11:7:6:5:5:5:4.5:6. Head excavated, shiny, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, only present behind ocellar triangle; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 8. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, smooth and unsculptured. Scutum laterally without pointed apophyses. Mesopleuron and metapleuron unsculptured, not transversely striate. Metanotum inclined, not hollow behind scutellum, laterally without pointed apophyses. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, with anterior surface unsculptured and posterior surface transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 14:3:5:17:24. Enlarged claw (Plate 125D) with one small subapical tooth and one row of seven peg-like hairs. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 125D) with inner margin proximally shortly serrated and with one row of 20 lamellae; distal apex with about ten lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: holotype ♀: PAKISTAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dir., Lawarai Pass, 3000 m, 21.V.1983, C. Besuchet leg. (MHNG) . Other material. INDIA: Uttar Pradesh, 10 Km E Mussoorie, 20 Km NE Dehradun, 2000 m, 7.X.1996, 1♀ (OLL) .
