Type species. Hybristodryinus resinicolus Engel 2005, by monotypy and original designation.
Diagnosis. Female (Plate 88B–D); fully winged (Plate 88B); occipital carina complete; mandible and palpal formula not visible; antenna without tufts of long hairs; antennal rhinaria not visible; fore wing with three cells enclosed by pigmented veins (costal, median and submedian) (Plate 88B); chela with rudimentary claw (Plate 88C–D); segment 5 of protarsus less than twice as broad as enlarged claw (Plate 88C–D); enlarged claw shorter than protibia; tibial spurs 1/1/1. Male; unknown.

World species. One species is known.
Remarks. The holotype of H. resinicolus is in very bad conditions (Engel, pers. comm.) so that it is impossible to see characters useful to better the diagnosis and include the genus in the key to the genera of Oriental Dryininae .
