Distr.: Canada, USA, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru and Brazil (Guimarães, 1983a; Toma, 2010). Comm.: This species is not recorded to Colombia, but is likely to occur in the country. There are also some Nearctic nominal species under synonymy with archippivora (see Beneway 1963: 639, and O`Hara & Wood 2004: 125).
