Genus HADZIBEJLIASPIS Koteja

Hadzibejliaspis Koteja, 1978: 317 . Type species: Exaeretopus stipae Hadzibejli by monotypy and original designation.

Diagnostic characters of the adult female: Slide-mounted body oval / elongate oval / pear-shaped; lacking stigmatic clefts. Marginal setae distinctly larger than dorsal setae; stigmatic setae not differentiated from marginal setae. Long pregenital setae absent from abdominal segments anterior to anogenital fold. Dorsal and ventral tubular ducts extremely large. Legs well developed, tibia and tarsus freely articulated, each with tibio-tarsal sclerosis; claw digitules slender, with apical knob very small. Anal cleft very short.Anal plates each elongate triangular and bearing 3 setae.

Comments: Worldwide, two species are included in Hadzibejliaspis Koteja (GarcĂ­a Morales et al. 2016); only H. stipae (Hadzibejli) is known from Iran (Torabi et al. 2010).
