Cheiramiona boschrandensis sp. nov.

Type material. Holotype ♀, SOUTH AFRICA: Free State, Fauresmith, Boschrand 208, 29º56’S, 24º48’E, 22.III.2005, L.N. Lotz leg. (NMBA 10010).
Etymology. The specific name is an adjective derived from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Cheiramiona boschrandensis sp. nov. is similar to C. upperbyensis sp. nov. in the posterior lip-like extension of epigastric fold and in the length and direction of the copulatory tubes, but is differentiated by the Yshaped central depression and the more rounded SPER (Figs 5–6, 95–96).
Description. Female (n = 1): TL = 5.80; CL = 2.30; CW = 1.90; OAL = 0.40; OAW = 1.15; CLL = 0.05. Chelicerae: robust with long fangs; PMT:RMT = 3:2 (Fig. 4). Measurements: AME–AME 0.10; AME–ALE 0.15; AME diameter 0.15; PME–PME 0.20; PME–PLE 0.15; PME diameter 0.15; MOQAW 0.40; MOQPW 0.50; CI (CL/CW) 1.21; LL:CL 4.70; STL 1.10; STW 1.05. Leg measurements: I—3.1+1.0+2.6+3.1+1.0 = 10.8; II— 2.0+0.8+1.5+2.0+0.6 = 6.9; III—1.6+0.7+1.1+1.6+0.5 = 5.5; IV—2.4+0.8+1.8+2.4+0.6 = 8.0; Palp— 0.9+0.4+0.5+0.7 = 2.5. Leg spines: I—0, 0, 2v- 0- 1 v; II—0, 0, 0-0- 1 v; III—0, 0, 0-0-3 v1 p1r; IV—0, 0-0-1r, 2v- 2 v1 p1r-3 v1 p1r. Abdomen: creamy-yellow with a heart mark, without other markings. Epigynum (Figs 5–6): wider than long, with small Y-shaped central depression; copulatory openings placed anteriorly in depression; epigastric fold forming lip-like extension, with median cavity connected to fertilization tubes; internally, short, broad copulatory ducts proceed posteriorly and laterally before ending in median part of SPER; fertilization tubes enter SPER posteriorly. Male: unknown.
Distribution. Only known from the type locality (Fig. 97).
Habitat. Collected in grassland.
