Material. GHANA: 3 males, Central region, Kakum, Entwikrom 31.10– 8.11.1994, NUFU-project ZMBN, leg. J. Kjaerandsen & T. Anderson (slide mounted, IZBE and NHMO) . CAMEROON: male, North Reg. Vina, Tchabal village, 07°35,195’N 13°33,566’E; 13.viii.2013, 1362 m, A.H. Kirk-Spriggs; Malaise traps degraded savanna hill forest, BMSA(D) 54969 (slide mounted, BMSA) .

Remarks. The species was described from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, but was recorded also from Côte d’Ivoire (Hippa 2008). The studied specimens are more similar to the specimen figured from Côte d’Ivoire (Hippa 2008: fig. 12B) because the dorsal medial margin of the gonocoxa is only slightly lobe-like produced posteriorly, while it is a more prominent lobe in South African specimens (cf. Jaschhof & Mostovski 2006: fig. 5).
