Diagnostic description.
F 15 cubic, its length 1.1 × its width; sculpture on anteromesoscutum and propodeum shallow; T 1 mostly parallel-sided but slightly broadening near posterior margin; T 1 with strong, longitudinal striae on posterior 0.5; T 2 very transverse, with anterior and posterior margins strongly sinuate; T 2 mostly sculptured, but with smooth areas along margins; tegula and humeral complex brown; longitudinal strip on metasternum yellow-white; all coxae brown; pro- and mesofemora entirely yellow; body length: 2.02 mm; fore wing length: 2.20 mm. Among species with mostly sculptured T 2, D. robpringlei can be distinguished by its T 1 and T 2 shape and sculpture, anteromesoscutum and propodeum sculpture, legs color and overall body appearance less shiny and less smooth than closest (i. e., similar morphologically) species; F 15 length is the main diagnostic character to separate it from D. scottmilleri .
