TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, Northern Territory, between Mt. Farewell and Lake Mackay .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

STATUS: IUCN - Extinct; probably extinct.

COMMENTS: Known from a single unsexed skull (Kirsch and Calaby, 1977:22).
