Distribution. Russia (North Caucasus, south of the European part); southeastern Europe, Israel, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, [nominate subspecies]; North Africa, southwestern Europe [ ssp. ventrale (Pérez, 1903)]. The record from China (Gansu) by Morawitz (1889: 364) is based on misidentifications of Lasioglossum sp. from the L. villosulum species group.

Remarks. A rare species.
