Type locality. Vietnam (Da Nang: Ba Na NP).

Type material. SORC, Vietnam.

Examined material. 2 C (CTU-EW.048.01), and 4 C, 4 A (CTU-EW.048.02) forest, Ba Na-Nui Chua National Park, Da Nang, 24/9/1994, coll. Pham Thi Hong Ha .

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun bà nà.

Remarks. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ".

Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.
