Type locality. Vietnam (Kien Giang: Phu Quoc Isl.).

Examined material. 8 C (CTU -EW093.01) short-term tree plantations, An Son Isl., Kien Hai, Kien Giang (104 0 21'10.1''E; 09 0 41'11.8''N), 17/11/2013, coll. Trinh Thi Kim Binh.

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun phú quốc khác.

Remarks. Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima, and placed the species under the new subgenus.
