Genus Perionyx Perrier, 1872

Type species. Perionyx excavatus Perrier, 1872, by original designation. Distribution. Mainly in Burma and India (Blakemore 2002).

Remarks. To date, 61 species and subspecies have been described (Csuzdi 2012), but only one species has been recorded in Vietnam.
