Distribution. Vietnam (Le 1995a), Thailand, Myanmar (Gates 1932, 1939, 1972)
Vietnamese name. Giun nhỏ phưƠng nam.
Remarks. Gates (1939) said that the species was probably endemic in the northern part of the Malay penisula.
Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima, and placed the species under the new subgenus.
