Type locality. Vietnam (Ninh Binh: Cuc Phuong NP).

Type material. ZMUM (W.262), Russia.

Records from Vietnam. Cao Bang (Thach An); Vinh Phuc (Tam Dao NP); Hoa Binh (Mai Chau); Ninh Binh (Cuc Phuong NP) (Thai 1982; Do 1994; Le 1995a).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun manh tràng kép.

Remarks. The species is easily recognised by ventrally and dorsally flattened body, bi-lobuled intestinal caeca. So far it was found only in wet forest (Do 1994). Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ", further examination was not possible because all previously collected material has been lost.
