Distribution. Laos (Samphon 1990).

Vietnamese name. Giun nhiều nhú phụ.

Remarks. Do (1994) noted variations in the position of genital markings in the spermathecal region and similarities to Amynthas aspergillum (Perrier, 1872) in the pattern of genital markings in male region. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.
