Amynthas breviclitellatus (Do & Tran, 1995)

Type locality. Vietnam (Nghe An: Que Phong).

Type material. SORC, Vietnam.

Examined material. 1 C (SORC-HV.020), and 5 C, 4 A (SORC-PV.020.01) bamboo forest, Hiep Cat, Que Phong, Nghe An, 22/12/1987, coll. Tran Ba Cu .

Records from Vietnam. Nghe An (Que Phong) (Do et al. 1995).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Remarks. The species is fairly similar to Amynthas polychaetiferus (Thai, 1984), but distinguished by having two pairs of spermathecal pores, a clitellum from xiv–3/4xvi, and genital markings in spermathecal and male region. Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.
