Records from Vietnam. Commonly found in central and northern Vietnam (Tran 1985; Do 1994; Nguyen 1994; Le 1995a; Pham 1995c, 2010; Huynh & Nguyen 2004a).

Distribution. Cosmopolitan species (Blakemore 2002, 2007a).

Vietnamese name. Giun lớn.

Remarks. Its original home is probably in China (Gates 1972). In Vietnam, it has been rarely found in southern part of Haivan pass in central Vietnam.
